About Brentwood Lofts

Brentwood Lofts is a family run loft conversion and building contract specialist firm with many years experience – established since the mid 1980’s and located and working primarily in Essex, to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our clients.

We provide a full service, from our free initial survey/design site visit, when advice on all options will be given, followed by architectural designs, planning applications, negotiations with local authority planning departments, through to final building inspection and completion certificate.

We can also provide a “shell” scheme, which allows you to do as much or as little of the work as you require.

Due to our wide building experience, we are very proud of our history in construction and design, which has often enabled us to overcome some of the more complex problems associated with loft conversions, in a more contemporary and cost effective way.  We are also proud of our  inspirational approach to design and our ability to ‘think outside the box’ to see beyond the traditional route.  Also, as a result of many years of trading, we have an extremely good working relationship with Brentwood’s and other  Councils’ Building Control departments, with whom we liaise throughout our projects.

We also carry out all other kinds of conversions (including garage conversions), all types of building works – including new build – and have vast experience in project management and consultancy for not only our domestic clients, but also for local property developers.

Brentwood Lofts is a member of the Federation of Master Builders, working closely with architects, engineers and local authorities.  We have been involved in design and structural requirements at all levels on hundreds of projects.  

Our teams are experienced and qualified in their respective trades (Gas Safe and NICEIC registered) and we pride ourselves in providing a close and personal working relationship with our clients.  Indeed, a vast amount of our work is obtained through referrals.

Brentwood Lofts also works closely with our suppliers, keeping abreast and up to date with all new developments in materials and product ranges, particularly bearing in mind the ever changing environmental issues, such as home insulation, renewable energy sources etc.
